The new Atletico's man is already full of praise for his new manager Diego Simeone, Kieran trippier signed for Atletico Madrid on 17th July 2019  on a three-year contract for a fee of 20m euros plus add ons

When questioned about his spell at Atletico Madrid Trippier had this to say concerning his new manager Diego Simeone "On the defensive side I feel like he will improve me a lot. I've learned so much during the months that I have been there, he's just incredible to work with. He's totally different from any other coach I have had before"
